Dear Friends of Line Upon Line Ministries,
Fall is in full swing here in Cleburne County, Arkansas. The leaves are changing colors and the view of the valley from our home here on Hallelujah Hilltop is absolutely beautiful. As I write this, we have had about 4 straight days of rain. It is peaceful and much needed, but I guess that all depends on your perspective. I am personally grateful for the rain because it is knocking all the acorns off the trees and starting to rot the ones on the ground. Perfect and just in time for gun season. Those deer will start making their way out of the tree line and straight to my feeder and eventually into our freezer, Lord willing!
On the home front, this school year is flying by! Ella has finished her senior volleyball season and is about to start basketball. Clay has been excelling academically, handling his advanced courses extremely well so far. Sara has been keeping us going; she is our family anchor, making sure we are all where we need to be, taking care of our home, and serving faithfully alongside me in our church at Tumbling Shoals. Glory to God for His kindness to my family in this season of life and ministry!
Update on Josh Miller
Josh is doing well. While his business certainly keeps him busy, the Lord has been gracious to allow him some time to enjoy things he didn’t have as much time for in previous years when he was working in state government. Most recently, he enjoyed a successful hunting trip to Kansas, where he bagged an enormous 9-point monster buck. Bro David would be proud! What makes this trip even more incredible is what God provided through Josh’s guides. Josh shared with them about the Wild Game Supper that our church hosts each Spring. When they heard that, they were gracious to provide a bunch of extra meat they had from some of their other deer. When he got it all home and put it away in the freezer, we saw that the amount they gave would likely supply the Wild Game Supper (something that was near and dear to Bro. David’s heart) for the next couple of years! God is so good! He provides; He supplies all our needs and does so in places and times when we least expect it.
By way of ministry update, we are still growing strong! New content is continuing to be added to our website and social media. So many people are reaching out to express how much God is using what we are doing to encourage and equip them, whether through David’s sermons, the podcast, the short video clips, or other resources and content they have seen. Josh and I enjoy sharing these comments/messages with one another and giving glory to God for each and every one. Thank you for your prayers, keep praying that the Lord will continue to use Line Upon Line for His glory and the good of His people. God bless!
