Dear Friends,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus. The sermon this month is on the subject of rest. Not the Sabbath day of rest, or internal spiritual rest, but eternal rest in heaven. I needed this sermon! The old adage “the hurrieder I go the behinder I get” seems to characterize the Miller family these days. The five weeks I was incapacitated during the summer has had me playing catch up. Of course, the world, the flesh, and the devil require constant vigilance. I needed to be reminded that “there remaineth therefore a rest for the people of God.”
The new motor home continues to function well and its beauty is awesome. We are deeply humbled by Jehovah Jireh’s provision for our needs.
Our schedule is full in October and November. Our Expository Preaching Conference in Townville, South Carolina, November 12-14 is already full. We are adding a session just for wives at this conference.
Glenda is busy as usual. However, in recent weeks she has been bothered by arthritis. She would benefit greatly from our prayers.
Line Upon Line Ministries continues to operate in the black. Many of you have given to this ministry literally for decades. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
On the Potter’s Wheel,
David Miller
