Dear Friends,
Greetings from the beautiful Ozark mountains! Hope this finds all of you doing well. Life has been busy here, but things are good.
I hope y’all have had a chance to visit the Line Upon Line Ministries website and have listened to the podcasts. Bro. Mark Williams has been doing a great job with these, sharing both Dad’s sermons as well as giving great insight into expository preaching, the rock upon which Dad founded Line Upon Line Ministries. I can’t put into words what a blessing they have been to me personally. Those of you who have social media please share the podcasts and other content as you have opportunity. We have some exciting news! Coming soon to the website, will be content from an Expository Preaching Conference. More details in days ahead.
It is with great appreciation that I share the news that Ms. Donna Patchin is retiring next month. Ms. Donna has served as our office assistant, helping Dad and Line Upon Line Ministries as well as me in my housing business. (She was also roped into helping me stay on top of correspondence when I was in the legislature.) While I am sad to see her go and have honestly been dreading this day for some time, I am excited for her and her upcoming retirement. Please join with me in praying for her as she enters this phase of life. She has earned and is much deserving of a great retirement.
With that being said, we will be making additional changes at Line Upon Line Ministries of which we will make you aware as time goes by. Please pray for us as we do this that the Lord will give us wisdom and guidance in how we conduct the day-to-day business of the ministry. I would remind you, next month, July, as we complete the Nehemiah sermon series, will be the last month of mailing out CD’s. The CD ministry will be discontinued at that time. Sermons will be available to you on the website. As we have stated before, if there were any sermon CD albums you would like to have for your personal use or church library, we would be happy to provide those. Just let us know.
Lastly, I want to thank each of you for your prayers and support for Line Upon Line Ministries throughout the years. Words fail me when I try to express this so I will simply say thank you. Most of all I thank the Lord for giving me two great parents in David and Glenda Miller and the opportunities that I have had. We look forward to continuing Line Upon Line Ministries and the work the Lord did through my parents for a long time.
