Dear Friends and Fellow Believers,
Blessings from the beautiful Ozark foothills in Heber Springs! As February draws to a close (and the subfreezing temperatures come to an end), it’s a joy to share how the Lord has been at work through Line Upon Line Ministries this month.
February has brought continued opportunities to proclaim and preserve the faithful exposition of God’s Word. We’ve released Episode 14 of The Line Upon Line Ministries Podcast, which features the first half of a great interview with Dr. Hershael York as he reflects on his longtime friendship with our founder, Bro. David Miller. We’ve paired that with David’s classic sermon on the Doctrine of Substitution from Isaiah 53—reminding us all of Christ’s work on our behalf. We’ll share the rest of the interview in an upcoming episode, so stay tuned! We’ve also shared several powerful clips and archived sermons from Bro. David on our social media. These messages continue to encourage and equip pastors, teachers, and believers across the globe. We’re thankful for the steady engagement, shares, and encouraging notes—God is using these resources to strengthen His church, line upon line.
At home, February has been busy and joyful with church, school, and family life. Ella’s basketball team is currently competing in the Regional tournament, and they’ll head to the State tournament next week—what an exciting season! Both kids were recently inducted into the National Beta Club, and Clay is excelling academically in his sophomore year. My wife, Sara, continues to serve the Lord faithfully at home, in our church, and behind the scenes with Line Upon Line. We’re also gearing up for our church’s 17th Annual Wild Game Supper next week—an outreach ministry Bro. David loved and helped establish. Our whole family looks forward to being part of it every year. We’re so grateful for these blessings and the Lord’s goodness in the midst of it all.
As we look to March, we’re eager to press on with another podcast episode (including the conclusion of the Hershael York interview), content on expository preaching and biblical living, and ongoing efforts to make Bro. David’s legacy accessible to new generations. In that spirit, we’re actively building our archive of Bro. David’s life and ministry.
