December 2024
Dear Friends,
Greetings from the beautiful Ozarks! I hope this finds you doing well. It is the Christmas season which in the Miller household has always meant deer season is winding down. I have missed hearing all the mouthing that Dad would give me for not killing the big deer and then hearing Mom get on to him for giving me such a hard time! Which thing he loved to do! With that being said, this season has caused me to think a great deal about how richly blessed I have been to have had the parents I have who became my mentors as I got older. Malachi is finishing up his first semester of law school and doing well. I am looking forward to seeing him over Christmas break.
We are making progress each month with this new phase of Line Upon Line Ministries. The website is coming along, and we are excited about it being fully completed one day soon. Dad had preached more than a few sermons over his nearly 60 years of ministry. Fortunately, there are audio recordings of many of these and we want to be able to make all those available through the website at no charge. Bro. Mark Williams and Ms. Donna Patchin are great assets in this endeavor. Ms. Donna has kept Dad and I both straight for years and Bro. Mark has the knowledge and capabilities to bring this all together. I am very pleased how everything is working and am very grateful that the Lord has granted us this opportunity. David Miller would never want this to be about him but about the Lord who used his ministry.
I am including in this letter this update from Bro. Mark “We are excited to share that the website is coming along beautifully as we continue with updates, which we hope to make public soon. We’ve also purchased podcasting equipment, started exploring the best online platforms, and are planning our first episodes. Additionally, we’re working on improving our email system to keep everyone updated more efficiently. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!”
Once again, I cannot express my gratitude enough to each of you for the prayers and support that you have given Line Upon Line Ministries throughout the years. There are so many folks who have been great friends of my family, and I hope to personally be able to speak with all of you at some point. But in the meantime, please know that you are appreciated so very much. Thank you again and may each of you have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
Sincerely,
Josh Miller
