Dear Friends,
Greetings! I hope this finds each of you having a great New Year. As I look back on 2024, it was a tough year with the passing of Dad, but I have reflected on just how blessed I am to have been David and Glenda’s son. I was privileged to know them better than anyone else. A guy could not have asked for better parents nor better role models. It has been a real blessing to hear from so many people over the past few months stories about how Dad and Mom were instrumental in people’s lives and what they meant to so many folks out across the country.
The end of 2024 brought with it the end of my time in the Arkansas House of Representatives. I want to thank you who have prayed for me during the twelve years that I served in that capacity. I was proud to cast several votes in the Arkansas House that helped turn Arkansas into one of the most pro-life states in the country. That was an opportunity that I did not take lightly. I want to thank those of you who, through Dad or by directly reaching out to me, let me know that I was in your prayers during this time. I can’t tell you how much that meant.
Bro. Mark Williams, with help from some other ministry partners, is making a lot of headway towards launching an official Line Upon Line website where most, if not all, of Dad’s sermons will be archived. This has been no small project, and I am truly grateful for Mark’s willingness and expertise in this area. We are hoping to have this fully up and running early this year.
It seems like each time I write to you, I spend the majority of the letter saying thank you, but I don’t know what else to say. The love and support that has been given to Line Upon Line Ministries throughout my lifetime is truly overwhelming and I look forward to seeing this work continue with Dad’s ministry still being used. I believe that God is sovereign and in control and it truly is an honor when He uses you or your family for the work of His kingdom. Thank you once again for all the support you have given this work for all these years. We look forward to sharing more next month.
